LaSalle dam
Stamford Wrecking Company performed complete dam demolition and removal of the LaSalle Dam. The demolition included the dam face slab, buttress walls, gate house, crest slabs, spillway and wing walls.
The site was backfilled and restored with native soil from the stream banks. Construction and removal of all temporary access roads, diversion structures and equipment bridges was also performed. Stamford Wrecking Company worked successfully with municipal, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the United States Army Corps. of Engineers on this project.
