Windsor Dam Reconstruction Project
Demolition and site reconstruction of the existing 42 foot high by 105 long dam which held back the Windsor Reservoir.
The work was performed through the summer /winter months so maintenance of water flow and water diversion could be controlled during certain phases of construction. Seismic and geotechnical engineering was important in the construction of the 30 foot base of the dam and the left wingwall earthen dam to hinder erosion. This dam and the existing roadway bordered the jurisdiction of three towns.
